The Binder M12 flange connector (item number 99 3441 401 05) from the 763 series is a 5-pin, shieldable connector for SMT PCB mounting. The shielding capability enables EMC-compliant installation for high-frequency signals, Industrial Ethernet (e.g. PROFINET, EtherCAT) or interference-sensitive data transmission – essential in environments subject to electromagnetic interference.

SMT (Surface Mount Technology) connection technology enables fully automated assembly without through-holes and reduces manufacturing costs whilst maintaining a high packing density. With an IP67 protection rating, the connector is dust-tight and protected against temporary submersion. The M12x1.0 thread guarantees a secure screw connection with mating connectors.

Front mounting allows the connector to be routed through the housing walls with external connection. The 5-pin configuration is suitable for Ethernet (TX+, TX-, RX+, RX-) plus shield connection, or for other differential signal transmissions. The M12 screw-lock mechanism ensures vibration-resistant contact even in moving applications.
