Toggle switches

Contact blocks form the electrical heart of every control unit. They convert the mechanical actuation of pushbuttons, switches and emergency stop devices into defined switching states.
Technical details
The switching elements are available in three basic configurations: as a single normally open (NO) contact, a single normally closed (NC) contact, or as a combined block with 1S+1Ö. The connection technology offers two options: traditional screw terminals for conductor cross-sections up to 2.5 mm², and time-saving push-in terminals for tool-free wiring. With a switching voltage of up to 500 V and switching currents of up to 10 A in accordance with AC-15/DC-13, the contact blocks cover both standard and heavy-duty applications. The design in accordance with IEC 60947-5-1 guarantees global compatibility. In the range: RAFI.
Applications
Switching elements are used wherever control units need to be upgraded or repaired. In control cabinet construction, they enable the flexible configuration of control panels with different switching functions. As spare parts, they extend the service life of existing systems – faulty contact blocks can usually be replaced without having to replace the entire control unit. Typical applications include machine control panels, emergency stop circuits and industrial control systems.
