E.Hartner offers a comprehensive range of accessories for the professional assembly and long-term protection of plug-in connectors. From crimp contacts and housing variants to protective caps, the range covers all requirements for field assembly and maintenance.

Crimp contacts and assembly accessories

The range includes crimp terminals for various cable cross-sections and plug-in systems:

  • Crimp contacts for cross-sections ranging from 0.14 mm² to 6 mm² – suitable for M8, M12 and M23 systems
  • Cap nuts for the secure fitting of flush-mounted sockets into enclosure walls
  • Surface-mounted housing for retrofitting from printed circuit board to cable connection
  • Assembly tools such as crimping dies and crimping tools for standard-compliant contact termination

Depending on the system, the crimp contacts are designed for continuous operating temperatures of up to 125°C and meet the mechanical requirements set out in DIN EN 60352-2. Our product range includes, amongst other things, components from Binder.

Protective caps and fasteners

Various designs are available to protect unconnected terminals from environmental influences:

  • Protective caps for plugs – with a seal to provide IP67 protection when connected
  • Protective caps for sockets – with a bayonet lock or screw-on cap
  • Blind plug for unused cable entries

Typical areas of application

These accessories are used wherever plug connections need to be custom-assembled or protected. In field assembly, crimp contacts allow cable lengths to be flexibly adjusted directly on site. During repairs, they serve as replacements for damaged or corroded contacts. Protective caps are essential in outdoor applications, machine tools and the food industry, where exposed connections need to be protected from moisture, dust or cleaning agents.
