Removal tool, for crimp contacts

The Binder removal tool, item no. 07 0090 000, is a precision specialist tool designed for the gentle removal of crimp contacts from connector housings. It is compatible with the Binder 423/425/581/680/682/723 series and enables maintenance and repair work to be carried out without damaging the contacts or insulating bodies.

The tool has a specially shaped tip which releases the crimp contact from its lock in the housing. This is necessary when individual wires need to be replaced, contacts need to be renewed or connectors need to be reconfigured. To use the tool, carefully insert it between the contact and the housing, thereby unlocking the locking tabs.

Its main areas of application are servicing, prototyping, custom assembly and fault analysis. The stripping tool is particularly indispensable for pre-assembled cables with crimp connectors, as it allows the housing and undamaged contacts to be reused.
