The Binder RD24 cable connector (item no. 99 4221 14 04) from the 693 series is a binder power connector with 3 poles plus an earth conductor for high-current connections. The screw terminal connection technology ensures a secure connection for cable diameters ranging from 10.0 to 12.0 mm. Strain relief is provided by a PG 13.5 screw gland.
With an IP67 protection rating, the connector is protected against dust and temporary submersion – making it ideal for use in industrial environments, outdoors or in harsh conditions. The screw-lock mechanism mechanically secures the connection and prevents it from coming loose accidentally due to vibrations.
The binder plug is certified to UL, ESTI+ and VDE standards and therefore complies with international electrical safety standards. The unshielded version is suitable for power transmission where there are no critical EMC requirements.
