binder power connectors transmit high currents and voltages in industrial applications. These robust circular binder connectors are suitable for drive technology, welding systems and other high-power systems with combined power and signal contacts.

Designs and technical specifications

The range includes various connection types for different installation scenarios:

  • PCB15 printed circuit board connector: Direct mounting on circuit boards, compact design for built-in control systems
  • Bayonet lock, IP40: Quick-release mechanism with a quarter-turn, tool-free assembly
  • M25 screw lock: Vibration protection provided by a metric thread, increased strain relief
  • RD24/RD30 Circular Connector binder: Diameter 24 mm or 30 mm; multi-pole versions with up to 12 contacts
  • HEC bayonet: Heavy Equipment Connector, reinforced version for harsh environments

The binder connectors comply with IEC 61076 and achieve protection ratings up to IP67 in accordance with IEC 60529. Modular contact inserts allow power and signal contacts to be combined in a single housing – this reduces the number of sockets and simplifies cabling. Available in the range: Binder.

Typical areas of application

binder power connectors are used wherever high levels of electrical power need to be transmitted safely. In drive technology, they connect frequency converters to motors; in welding technology, they carry welding currents of up to 500 A. Stage technology installations use the binder connectors for mobile spotlights and motor controls, whilst in industrial power supply systems they power large actuators and production plant.
