The M12 hybrid cable connector from Binder, Series 767 (item number 77 8730 0000 30709 0185), combines power and signal transmission in a robust connector. The 2+7-pin version enables the simultaneous transmission of power and data signals via a single connector.
The 1.85 m long, black PUR cable is moulded securely to the junction box housing. It features 2 power conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm² (AWG 18), for supply voltages, and 7 signal conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 0.14 mm² (AWG 26), for data transmission. The M12 screw-lock connection provides secure mechanical fastening and high resistance to vibration. The IP67 protection rating guarantees complete protection against dust and temporary submersion.
This hybrid solution is ideally suited to industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP, in which field devices are supplied with power and data.
