This modular socket, in a 6P6C configuration, offers a full 6-pin connection for advanced communication applications. The right-angled design with a 90° outlet allows for space-saving integration parallel to the surface of the printed circuit board.
The integrated flange ensures a secure mechanical connection to the printed circuit board and increases resistance to mechanical stress caused by repeated plugging and unplugging. Compared with the 6P4C variant, all 6 positions are fully contacted here, enabling extended functions and signal transmission.
The socket is designed for through-hole PCB mounting and features corrosion-protected contacts with low contact resistance. Full contact makes it suitable for use with multi-core telephone lines, extended control signals or additional auxiliary contacts.
Typical applications include ISDN interfaces, multi-line telephone systems, advanced communication devices and industrial control systems with more complex signal routing via RJ-Verbinder.
