The lightweight RP705B coaxial cable, with an impedance of 75 ohms, is specifically designed for video, CCTV and broadband data transmission. Its optimised design combines low attenuation with high flexibility and reduced weight.
The foamed polyethylene dielectric reduces attenuation and improves transmission characteristics within the relevant frequency range. The combination of copper braiding and foil shielding ensures effective shielding against external interference whilst maintaining a slim profile.
The lightweight construction makes installation considerably easier and reduces the load involved in longer cable runs or when laying cables in cable ducts. Despite the reduced weight, mechanical stability is still guaranteed for professional installations.
