The Binder device plug 43 1701 000 03 is the cable-side counterpart to the Type A device socket and is used for the pre-assembled cabling of solenoid valves. With 2 contacts plus a protective earth (PE), it is suitable for standard solenoid valves. The conductors are connected by soldering, which ensures a particularly compact and vibration-resistant connection.
The unshielded version is optimised for low-frequency control and supply voltages up to 250 V AC. Without a seal, the connector has an IP40 protection rating – suitable for dry, sheltered environments. If required, the protection rating can be increased to IP65 by using optional sealing rings, thereby enabling use in damp production environments.
The locking mechanism consists of an M3 central screw, which forms a positive and force-fit connection with the equipment socket. This design, which complies with DIN EN 175301-803, is widely used worldwide and ensures interchangeability between different manufacturers.
UL, ESTI+ and VDE approvals demonstrate compliance with international safety standards. Typical applications include pneumatic control systems, hydraulic systems, process plants and specialised machinery, where pre-assembled cables with soldered connections are the preferred choice.
