This retrofittable kink protection sleeve has been specially developed for RJ45 connectors and provides reliable mechanical protection at the critical transition point between the plug and the cable. The light grey version allows for colour-coding in the cabling.
The ferrule can also be fitted retrospectively to pre-assembled patch cables or installation cables without having to remove the connector. This saves time during maintenance work and retrofitting in existing network installations.
The precisely calibrated geometry controls the cable’s bending radius and effectively prevents kinks. The material offers good resistance to mechanical stress and helps to increase reliability in industrial and commercial network environments.
Suitable for standard RJ45 plugs and sockets. The kink-protection sleeve is reusable and can be repositioned if necessary.
