The 15-pin D-SUB socket with solder cups (Techno technology) is the female counterpart for D-SUB connection systems. The solder cups enable a permanent and vibration-resistant connection to the signal lines via soft soldering.
The standardised design in accordance with the D-SUB standard ensures mechanical and electrical compatibility with corresponding connectors. The socket contacts are spring-loaded and ensure low contact resistance over many mating cycles.
The main areas of application are interfaces in measurement and control technology, image transmission systems and industrial communication protocols. The metal housing provides electromagnetic shielding and mechanical stability.
