NCC bayonet connectors combine the compact M9 sub-miniature design with a special corrosion-resistant coating. Non-Corroding Coating (NCC) technology offers significantly extended service life in aggressive environments where standard metal housings reach their limits.

Technical details

The M9 connectors with NCC bayonet locking comply with the IEC 61076-2 standard and are characterised by their special surface treatment. The Non-Corroding Coating protects the metal components from chemical and atmospheric influences. The bayonet lock enables quick, secure connections even in confined spaces. Typical versions include 2- to 8-pole variants with rated currents of up to 3A at 125V. The subminiature design with a 9mm thread diameter saves space in compact applications.

Applications

In the food industry, NCC connectors have proven their worth in filling lines and packaging machines, where cleaning agents and moisture cause standard connectors to corrode. Chemical plants utilise the coating to protect against acid vapours and corrosive media. Outdoors, the connectors provide reliable signal transmission in weather stations, traffic control systems and maritime installations. The combination of a compact design and corrosion protection makes them the first choice for measurement and control technology in harsh industrial environments.
