The M16 binder connector, with an IP67 protection rating, combines a robust screw-lock mechanism with complete protection against dust and temporary submersion in water. The binder connectors feature an M16x1.5 metric thread and are available with 2 to 12 contacts. The IP67 protection rating in accordance with IEC 60529 guarantees complete dust-tightness as well as protection against temporary submersion in water to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes. The product range includes both cable connectors and flush-mounted connectors for enclosure and equipment feed-throughs. The contacts are typically rated for nominal currents between 5 and 10 amperes, depending on the number of poles and contact diameter.
