Cable connectors provide a detachable connection between cables and equipment, or between two sections of cable. These ready-to-assemble connectors allow for on-site installation directly onto the selected cable with the appropriate cross-section and insulation diameter.

Design types and technical specifications

Circular connectors in accordance with IEC 61076 cover pin counts ranging from 2 to 40. The standard sizes, M8 to M23, offer current-carrying capacities from 2 A to 40 A at rated voltages of up to 630 V. Protection ratings range from IP40 for indoor applications to IP68 for continuous underwater use. Locking systems include bayonet, screw and push-pull mechanisms.

Audio connectors such as XLR types comply with IEC 61076-2-103 and have between 3 and 7 pins. The gold-plated contacts guarantee low contact resistance of less than 3 mΩ. Coaxial connectors of the BNC, TNC or N-type operate with characteristic impedances of 50 Ω or 75 Ω for frequencies up to 18 GHz.

Power connectors for power transmission can handle currents of up to 125A at 400V AC. The crimp or screw terminals accommodate conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.14mm² to 50mm². In our range: Neutrik, Binder.
