The M8 flange socket, item number 76 6218 1111 00005 0200, from the Binder 718 series is a 5-pin sensor/actuator connector designed for demanding automation tasks. The unshielded version with stranded wire terminals offers flexible wiring options for sensors, valves and field devices with a higher number of pins.

Technical Specification: IP67 protection rating provides reliable protection against the ingress of dust and water (temporary submersion). The M8 screw-lock mechanism guarantees a secure, vibration-resistant connection. The M10x0.75 mounting thread is designed for rear-panel mounting – ideal for installation from inside the equipment or in cable ducts. UL 2238 approval available.

The 5-pin version is particularly suitable for more complex signal transmission, such as IO-Link sensors, encoders or devices with a separate power supply and multiple signal lines. The stranded wire connection allows for both crimp and solder connections and simplifies assembly in control cabinet construction.

Manufacturer: Binder (binder-connector.com), Series 768/718. Compatible with standardised M8 connectors in accordance with IEC 61076-2-104. Applications: Mechanical engineering, packaging industry, intralogistics, process automation.
