The Neutrik IP65 NAO12MW-A coupler (item number NAO12MW-A) enables the protected connection of two MTP multimode fibre-optic connectors in industrial environments. The Advanced version offers improved transmission characteristics and mechanical stability for demanding fibre-optic networks.
The IP65 protection rating protects the sensitive optical connections against dust and water jets, enabling their use in mechanical engineering, automation and harsh industrial environments. The MTP (Multi-fibre Push-On) interface allows the simultaneous transmission of multiple fibres in a compact binder connector and is particularly suitable for high-density data transmission applications.
Typical applications include industrial Ethernet networks, data centre cabling in production environments, machine data acquisition and high-speed communication systems. The multimode (MM) version is suitable for medium transmission distances of up to several hundred metres at high data rates.
