Control and operating buttons for professional control cabinet construction and industrial automation. The range includes over 1,000 items for a wide variety of control tasks – from simple pushbuttons to safety-relevant emergency stop switches in accordance with EN ISO 13850.
Product ranges and technical specifications
The push-button and switch family is based on the industry-standard size with a 22.5 mm panel cut-out. Available types:

Pushbuttons and illuminated pushbuttons: With and without LED lighting, switching capacities up to 10A/250V AC, contact material optionally gold (for low currents from 1mA) or silver (for higher loads)
Selector switch 2- and 3-digit versions with detent or spring function, defined switch positions for mode selection
Key switch For access restrictions and security features, various locking systems are available
Stop button According to EN ISO 13850 with forced opening contacts, red mushroom head Ø40mm, unlocking by turning or pulling
Short-stroke push-button Tactile feedback, short actuation path 1-2mm, ideal for frequent operation

The modular design allows for the combination of 1 to 4 switching elements per button. Protection ratings range from IP40 for protected installation locations to IP69K for high-pressure cleaning. The contacts comply with IEC 60947-5-1 and IEC 60947-5-5. Leading manufacturers such as RAFI are in the range.
Typical areas of application
The 22.5 mm series pushbuttons and switches are suitable for all industrial control tasks. In mechanical engineering, they serve as controls on control panels and mobile handheld controllers. Special machine builders appreciate the wide variety of options for custom solutions. In the automotive industry, the robust switches are used in production lines and test stands. In general plant engineering, they also form the interface between humans and machines – reliably, even under harsh environmental conditions.
