The copper-beryllium material ensures permanently reliable electrical contacting as well as mechanical spring force in flange assemblies.<\/p>\n<p>Feather plates of this type are used on waveguide flanges to minimise contact resistance, ensure a dense RF seal and reduce intermodulation distortion at the transition points. The component is adapted to the PDR-70 flange geometry.<\/p>\n<p>Typical applications include waveguide distribution systems in broadcast transmitters, radio and mobile base stations, and professional RF transmission systems.
